Chiru: I’ll win 225 seats

Hyderabad, July 29: The suspense over actor Chiranjeevi’s political entry seems to have come to an end. The actor announced on Tuesday at an informal gathering of a few select reporters that he will launch a political party soon.
 
"After August 15, the announcement will be made," the star said. Talking to a few mediapersons at his film production office in Jubilee Hills, Chiranjeevi was confident that his party will win 225 seats on its own in the General elections. He said that the media speculations about his political career since 1999 made him consider entering politics. He evaded questions on his party’s name, flag and agenda and said that he would meet the media very soon to reveal all that. He disclosed that there were around 20 names under consideration for his party.
 
Chiranjeevi indicated that he would announce the party through a media conference and there would a public meeting in Hyderabad and Tirupati after that. Though mediapersons questioned him about a separate Telangana, categorisation of SCs and Kapu reservations, the film star evaded a direct reply and said that he would go to people to know their thoughts. Responding to a question, the filmstar said he had not yet finalised from which constituency he would contest and added that he was ready to contest from any of the 294 segments in Andhra Pradesh. 

RGV’s Tollywood comeback with Jagapati Babu

It’s been a long time since Ramgopal Varma directed or produced a Telugu film. Even though he started his career as director with Telugu films, he later moved on to Bollywood. Now, he is making a comeback to Tollywood as a producer. This upcoming project is titled ‘Raksha’, which is being directed by a newcomer, Vamsi Akella. Kudos to RGV for giving a chance to budding talents. Jagapati Babu, Kalyani, Baby Neha will be playing the lead characters in Raksha, which is touted as a ’spine-chilling’ horror movie. According to the sources, Varma was inspired by a true life incident where a man was beaten to death, suspecting him to be a black magician. The film’s set for August release. 

Charmee has a new ‘Mantra’

After playing magic with her super performance in ‘Mantra’, Charmee is once again set to play a similar lead role in ‘Manthra Kanya.’ The movie is completed and is scheduled for release in the 2nd week of August. While Mantra was a suspense thriller, Manthra Kanya is an action-mystery set in the backdrop of a forest. It remains to be seen if Manthra Kanya does for Charmee what Mantra did to her. 

SINDHU TULANI-succeeding as second lead

Sindhu Tulani, who recently came up with her latest full fledged actress role, in the film “Bathukamma” was surprised with the response of the film. Already the film has gathered the investments and is running into profits. In some theatres this film has completed 50 day run. Though this film is based on the telangana sentiment, some distributors in Andhra are planning to release the film in their region.
Coming to her other film like “Victory, Hare Ram”, she played second heroine role in these films and said that she was happy with her brief performance. Though her roles re being labeled as second female lead roles, her performances are getting critical acclaims.
Recently in a press meet Sindhu diplomatically responded to a query which was regarding her second lead roles and responded that she known the tactics to make her brief role into a role which turns into a highlight in her films.

And freshly a person from Tiruchchi has sent MMS to his friends that shows Nayantara in nude and indulging in sexual acts with someone. The circulation was very rampant and this has become big news in Tamilnadu and Nayanatara has filed a case stating that the person who morphed the videos and sending on her name should be arrested and sent behind bars. She even played lead role in Maisamma IPS and now is doing sharon Stone in the film Target which is based on Basic Instinct.

Why is she calling it quits when the time is really on her side? Well, she says she is not comfortable with how things work here. Especially for the kind of importance associated with the gossips and rumors that are appearing on the websites. 'Unit members ask you about the rumours the moment you step into the sets. Websites write story for their run. There is lot of prominence attached to the negative news. This is showing impact on not only my career but also on my family. Hence I want to move away as soon as possible', says Mumaith. Mumaith Khan, whose mother tongue is Pushto (Pakistani Language), says this kind of attitude will not be seen in Mumbai, where she is planning to relocate. 'At least not to this extent' she says.

venky and trisha with "KRISH(GAMYAM)"

Victory Venkatesh and Trisha are paired up for Gamyam director Krish's second film titled Krishnam Vadem Jagatgurum. Jaya Krishna Mukunda Murari was also the title in consideration. However, Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum is confirmed as the title. A social cause has been the key for the script. Aswini Dutt will produce this film for Vyjayanthi Films banner.Krish is presently very busy with pre-production work of that film. As per the production requirements, this will stand out as the biggest venture so far. A schedule will be planned in USA. Also, along with Trisha, another prominent heroine will play second lady lead. Regular shooting of the film will start from 15th september.
