Shriya refuses to act with Dhanush

After pairing up with Dhanush in Tamil film Thiruvilayadal Aarambam, Shirya has now refused to share the screen space with him.

Sources have it that, Kathiresan, producer of Polladhavan had obtained Shriya's call sheet for the month of April and paid her the advance well before that. Meanwhile, Dhanush faced some problems with some producers and was forced to complete their projects first before accepting fresh ones. Due to this, the film did not commence as expected. When Shriya contacted Kathiresan to know the status, he reportedly informed her Dhanush would be available only after finishing two assignments.

And when the actress wanted to return the advance amount paid to her, he refused to accept the same. Disturbed by this behavior the actress shot a complaint to the Nadigar Sangam and also returned the advance.

Brahmanandam to tune Nag's King?

Brahmanandam is composing the music for Nag's King?- No, not exactly, he is turning out as music director but he is acting as music director in the upcoming flick 'King' in which Nagarjuna is starring as hero. This role played by Brahmanandam is completely a with comedy punch. 

Priyamani angry with Press reporters

A visibly distraught Priyamani lashed out at reporters when questioned about her salary hike. The national award winner sniped that there was nothing wrong in hiking the salary, particularly when one capable of delivering the goods. Priyamani was also candid enough to disclose that how can one expect her to work all through her career without expecting good remuneration.

However, she was not forthcoming on disclosing the exact figures. The lady currently has some prestigious offers in her kitty, including a plum role in Mani Ratnam's film, which is slated to go on the floors very soon. Priyamani, however, says that she picks and chooses her films with great care as she is skeptical that she would end up doing stereotypic roles. 

Hansika -i need a break

Hansika, who was slated to star in the South film Pulli, has now opted out of the it.

Directed by Surya, Hansika was supposed to star opposite Pawan Kalyan in the film. But Kalyan's decision to enter politics and subsequently change the dates for the shoot of the film has landed Hansika in a soup as she had already committed the new dates to other projects.

She had no choice but to opt out of the film. So, will she take a break or work find some more work in Bollywood? That remains to be seen.

Colors Swathi with Mahesh Babu's tattoo

Colors Swathi is playing the lead role in Indraganti Mohana Krishna's Asta Chemma. She is the fan of Mahesh Babu and she wants to get married with Mahesh Babu. But Mahesh gets his marriage Namratha, this disappoints Swathi. She will appear with Mahesh Tattoo on her hand through out the film.

The producer thanked Mahesh and Namratha for allowing him to use their names in the film.

Puli Music rights for Rs3 Crs

Power star Pawan Kalyan's last hit Jalsa set a record as Aditya Music Company bought the marketing rights for the film's music for over Rs.one crore. Now again, Puli's music is all set to be sold to the highest bidder for over Rs3 crores.

Puli, starring Pawan Kalyan, is produced by Singanamala Ramesh Babu under Kanakaratna Media banner and is directed by SJ Suryah.

Insiders say that though Sony had bid up to Rs. two crores, the makers decided to wait for a higher offer as the Pawan Kalyan and S.J. Suryah team is expected to churn out a bigger hit.

Kushi, directed by S.J. Suryah seven years ago starring Pawan Kalyan was a super-duper hit, and was remade in Tamil and Hindi. The remakes too were big box office earners.

director who is currently ruling the roost happens to be Srinu Vaitla who has been basking high on the success of his recent release 'Ready'. Currently, he is busy with the shooting of his film 'King' with Nagarjuna and there is news that the Chiru family has latched on to him for their future assignments.
Right now, he is preparing a script for Ramcharan and then this will be followed by Allu Arjun who is in line, later there is also news that Power Star Pawan Kalyan is planning to work with Srinu Vaitla in near future and it looks like the talented film maker has become the 'Aasthaana darsakudu' for the Chiru family.
